We are honored that multi-platinum artist, 22-time Grammy winner, and Grand Ole Opry member Vince Gill has chosen Gearcheck to help organize and preserve the records and stories of his extensive guitar collection.

Vince Gill is one of the most accomplished and respected figures in American music. A Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, multiple CMA Award winner — including Entertainer of the Year and a record number of Male Vocalist honors — and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member, he has sold tens of millions of records while earning a reputation as both a master musician and a gracious presence in the industry. Since 2017 he has also served as a touring member of the Eagles, helping carry forward the band's legacy following the loss of Glenn Frey.

Beyond the awards and stages, Vince has long described himself as a sentimental collector. He has spoken openly about the deep personal connections he feels to his instruments and the people and music tied to them. He still holds the very first guitar given to him by his father, and over the decades he has largely refrained from selling the instruments that have accompanied him through a lifetime of writing, recording, and performing. Every guitar in his collection carries a story.

Gearcheck allows those stories — and the detailed records that support them — to remain organized, accessible, and secure. From provenance and ownership history to photographs, maintenance notes, and personal context, the platform helps keep the full life of each instrument intact.

The first guitar his father gave him.

We are proud to play a small part in supporting Vince Gill's musical journey and the careful stewardship of a collection built on memory, connection, and respect for the instruments themselves.

Every record. Every story.
