Brad Paisley Uses Gearcheck Across His Collection

We are honored that Brad Paisley is using Gearcheck to organize and secure the records of his guitar collection—beginning with one of the most recognizable instruments in modern country music, his 1968 Fender Paisley Telecaster known as 'Old Pink.'

For more than two decades, Old Pink has been Paisley's primary electric guitar, heard on recordings and stages throughout his career. A discreet RFID chip has been placed inside the instrument and linked to its Gearcheck record, which is anchored on the blockchain. That permanent digital foundation now supports the guitar's historical journey with clarity and continuity.

The same approach extends across his wider collection. Paisley is himself a master of the relic process, shaping and aging instruments until they carry the feel and appearance of guitars that have lived full lives.
